Having taken the time, made the effort and spent the money to not only acquire the items that make up your display and build it but also transport it, set it up, sit with it and answer questions. Then dismantle it and take it home. You know all that's involved and what motivated you to do it all. We share the history and information we think people will find interesting and learn from.

Most displays are shown only once or twice over a 2-3 day period. We take a few photos for memories and the display along with the information it imparts also becomes history. Time that has passed hasn't changed that history or what people can learn from it.

This sub topic was started for you to share your display and the history it shows for more than a day or two. Alongside other displays of the same or similar history it takes on more meaning to those who see it.

It doesn't matter how small or large a display is or how sophisticated it is/was. Neither does it need to be an award winner. Collectively these displays attract more attention than alone and convey the level of interest of those who built them and importance of that history we feel that motivated us to do it.

Please consider sharing photos of your display along with a narrative of your choice. If you have images you'd like to have shown larger than this forum software will display please contact me by private message and we'll help make it happen. As you can see with some of the display images that you can click on and a new window opens with the enlargement.

This also provides others thinking of building a display with examples, the ability to ask questions and get assistance many of us wish we have when we built ours.

Thank much

Jim
