I built a coffee table during the almost two months I wasn’t at work. Figured some here might find it interesting.

Fantastic!!

What is the order process and is it extra for design customizations?

I can’t tell if you’re serious or not. I made it for myself and have no plan to make another. Just sharing a bit about the construction process.

@ArmyLifer: Just kidding around as the shipping would cost a fortune. I’ve had an idea for an M1 Carbine related piece of furniture for a while, but no time to gather supplies.

If my idea ever bears fruit, I hope it looks as good as yours. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome work!  Where did you locate the template for the markings (wording, etc.) on the exterior?

That's so rad! My only concern would be that it's the perfect "smash and grab".

it’s pretty easy to open it up and take them out if we’re going to be out of town. I’m retired now so not worried about daily security.

Sure... that's true. In any case, I think it turned out excellent; you can be really proud.

Wow! I missed this one too. Helped a friend do a similar project for his Mosin's with an original crate.
Yours is so much better with the lifting lid though. You have skills.
Don't clutter it up with magazines and coffee !
