Odd M1A1-style Carbine…

I came across this guy on Guns.com. Looks to be a Bakelite/plastic grip. Could this be Korean/Vietnam production, or is it most likely a more recent Franken-bine build? I’ve certainly never seen anything like it!

The stock itself looks like it was converted to an M1A1 stock by Bubba.

+1 looks like a converted stock.

This is just a wild guess, but I wonder if the grip is 3D printed from plastic? I have seen printed plastic parts with that same look.

Yep, the absence of the relief cut for the cheek pad on the left side and the rough work around the recoil plate pretty much gives it away.
To each their own, I guess...

That was kind of the impression I got too. In any case, I’m not the least bit interested in owning it, but the plastic grip piqued my interest. That’s the first of its kind I’ve seen.

I handled one of those grips recently. It is molded plastic from an airsoft or some replica toy.
