Just curious, Which, if any, of the manufactured parts would the markings on the oiler match or were they just randomly assebled when they put the sling on?

Oiler markings have no association with any parts markings. International Silver was subcontracted to make oilers for the Prime Carbine manufacturers, early on they were specifically marked for these Primes, (II-Inland, IW-Winchester, IN-NPM, IU-Underwood, IR-Rock-Ola, IQ-QHMC, ISP-for most likely Irwin Pedersen). In early 1943 International Silver petitioned the Government requesting to stop with the Prime specific markings and go with a generic IS marking, this request was granted. Below is a past thread with some good info on oilers.
