The Lake City ammo on strippers the guy gave me with the Universal I bought has brass tabs at the bottom and top I imagine to keep the ammo in. I'm not familiar with this kind of clip. Do you force the ammo down past the bottom tab? Bend it away? Is it a one use clip? Any education appreciate.

Just push and tab will push out of way.
In the feild i do not believe they were meant to be reused. You can however get a few uses out of them till the tab breaks. Hint on reloading, bend only enough to keep bullets from sliding out. Also rotate to get the most out of both tabs |
