I got a pleasant surprise with this sling. Snagged it from an eBay auction with just a couple poor quality pictures. National Postal Meter markings were an unexpected bonus. Now I need an adjuster buckle for it. I thought I had one, but the parts bin came up empty.

Great score 👍. I have not seen too many of those around. Nice clear marking too.

They really can be, even with all the madness going on. The big wins of the past two weeks are the three original flip sights I found. I am going to make a separate post about those.

I found an S-N marked sling on eBay late last year for 100 bucks. The metal isn't in as good condition as the one in this thread, but for 100 bucks I'll take it every time! As far as other deals even more recently: I found a 1400-dollar, original looking 3 million range Inland on Guns International and an Inland in the 400k range for 1200. It has a couple of questionable parts on it (checkered safety and narrow band swivel) but other than that appears original.
