@ bigheavy, as far as ordnance was concerned Saginaw was one entity with two factories. It is theorized the first delivery of SG marked receiver were delivered out the the GR plant. Later there were receivers sent to GR to have the serial numbers applied. There is much more to the full story and why we are looking closer at the certain serial number ranges to establish what may have actually taken place. @ kar, the highest serial was reported as 5,87x,xxx that information as well as information of some of the SG factory receiver questions stems mostly from CCNL 357 which 19 pages were devoted to serial numbers and anomalies. Everyone, If you see a Saginaw anywhere you can report this information. If you see it at an auction site and do not want to transpose the information please post or drop me an email or PM with a link and I will take care of the rest. on the note of serial numbers, do not forget the "Serial numbers to look for and report"
