There is an M3 scope for sale on eBay that was just listed. Looks to be fairly complete and in great condition. Not sure how much these usually cost, but they are asking $1,750.

May contain some good data for Jim to review?

yes-nice--it has the seldom seen machined mounting bar-very early typically associated with M2 scopes from memory
