I don't like the look of the stamping on the hammer. I think there may only be two Rock-Ola parts on this trigger group and the trigger. The picture of the trigger housing is blurry and it even kind of a mangled ROCK-OLA stamp on that housing. It is a "complete" trigger group, but in no way "all Rock-Ola". |

So Mike, what is your parts count? The one that sold I believe was original finish and only had one hammer marking.

I have been watching that trigger group for quite a while. Surprised some sucker hasn't bit the hook yet. Surprised the seller didn't put in a BR hammer and claim it was Rock-Ola as well. That said, I think I remember someone paying something like $400 or more for a stripped stamped Rock-Ola trigger housing on E-bay a while back.

Sometimes a seller sees a carbine part sell for $$$$ and they ask $$$$ without knowing why that part got what it did, and they assume their item must have the same value. I hope the following was listed with good intent and may not know just what gems they have "All Rockola M1 Carbine Complete Trigger Group in great shape." How many Rockola parts can you count? ![]() |

Another great sling on EBay! And only $329! "For sale here is an early WWII U.S. khaki C-Tip M1 Carbine 1943 sling .. The sling is in excellent non-frayed condition. These early tan slings have always been hard to find, and this sling is a nice one. Absolutely 100% guaranteed to be an original." ![]() |

Two bidders were interested in this one! I hope they were not thinking the numbers inside the stock was the ink we see on some USGI stocks as it is a commercial stock. ![]() |

The true wholy-grail (sic) "M1 Paratrooper Carbine made by Winchester chambered in .30 Carbine. This
is a rare Winchester with matching barrel, receiver, bolt, trigger
assembly, hammer and more. Overall excellent condition.Stock is in has
good condition with multiable cartouschs," ![]() ![]() ![]() And evidently these unicorns went exclusively to the Marines. ![]() further proof would be a selector cutout, presumably because the Marines were getting them and the Army just regular M1a1s. ![]() note the "M" on the bolt. Marines? |
