Charlie, What every carbine collector has lamented over the years, that a known (and admitted in this case) reproduction would be believed to be USGI.

@ Floydthecat, no need for x-ray vision to see that has been messed with

I see Roller Mill has a KR in Diamond listed. Start @ $75.75.

It's a fake Winchester barrel because I don't think they ever used swaged gas cylinders to my knowledge, but I can't figure out who made it. My guess would be inland made to look like a winchester maybe?

Yeah, I thought winchester only made the one type of barrel during their entire production.

Yeah once in the 1940's by the Department of Sea Turtles and again in the 1960's or maybe 70's by the DOD as an acceptable Jeep part. LOL
