Charlie, What every carbine collector has lamented over the years, that a known (and admitted in this case) reproduction would be believed to be USGI.

It's a fake Winchester barrel because I don't think they ever used swaged gas cylinders to my knowledge, but I can't figure out who made it. My guess would be inland made to look like a winchester maybe?

Yeah once in the 1940's by the Department of Sea Turtles and again in the 1960's or maybe 70's by the DOD as an acceptable Jeep part. LOL
