S-in-triangle logo on snap. Weave and color appear to be non-typical. I'm sure it's an original. Has anyone else seen one like it?

Well Bill would know except I wouldn't think a 1950s era sling would have c-tips.

If 50's I wouldn't think C tip either. If a replacement tip/ the D's were much stronger/tighter Ermm.
Can say 1 thing that weave looks 100%

I don't believe the tips have been replaced.

It's the usual first letter in last name and last four digits in serial number of some GI. Looks like S-9385.

From Bill Ricca's web site: "Scoville's marking of an S inside a triangle is one marking which has been seen on most postwar production, but also appears on an extremely small percentage of wartime production. I have seen only one legitimate WWII sling with this marking."

Had Bill Ricca look at this sling at a Gun Show over the weekend. He confirms that it is original WW2.
